Awesome blue color, I'd have to say that if I ever got a chameleon it would be a panther similar to that one in color. I love the way they look.

Well he was sold to me as a Ambanja, but he looks like a Nosey Be to me too. I got him when he was a hatchling, so it was hard to tell at first. I have been trying to figure it out myself! LOL

He looks like an Anbanja to me, but Nosy Be's are very similar. The breeder should be certain of what he is. If he is mixed he's not showing much of his other colors if at all.

I have had Jackson and Veiled chameleons. An Ambilobe panther is going to be my next chameleon. Right now I still have my Veiled and I am focusing on my geckos so it will be a while before I get my next cham.

He looks great by the way. What is his name?

No, you heard right, they are hard to care for. Like most reptiles they tend to hide their illness until the very last stage and by then it's too late. I have done a lot of research and still have much to learn. The key is to know your cham and any time they act just a litle out of the norm, they need to be checked out. There were a two occasions where I didn't pay enough attention to the chams behavior and sure enough they died. One from internal bleeding, possibly from a birth defect. And the other due to what I thought was a re-existing condition of MBD, it wound up being an infection.

Remember, research and know your cham.

I'll try to post some pics later of some of the chams I have had.
