I usually just give oranges and carrots to my feeders; but got some cherries yesterday, so I throw some in. I went back to check a couple hours later, and wow, just the seeds were left in my dubia tub while the orange slice was pretty much untouched!
On the other hand, the crickets just went for the orange and won't touch the cherries! So not just my geckos have pickly mouths, the feeders have their preferences too...
Other fruits that I'd tried include: papaya, watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, kiwi fruit, apples and pears. All of my feeders hated papaya and watermelon (so do I).
