Hey all,

I finally have my setup the way that I am going to keep it, with the exception of a hanging vine or two for the back corners of the enclosure. I was doing some math to figure up how much money I have invested in all of this, and thought I would take a minute to share the products that I use and the cost associated with them.

When adding all the products together, I have spent about $370.00, not including shipping and handling of the stuff I ordered online. The products that I am using, and links to them are below:

So where is the moist hide? And where is the UTH? Personally I don't use any kind of lights or CHEs on my tank. I just have a 30-40 gallon heat mat hooked up to a HydroFarm thermostat and it keeps the temp gradient perfect. I also have a 20 gallon long and I use slate tile with hermit crab sand underneath it to conduct heat better. :) I have a red bulb on my roach colony, but that's beside the point. hahah

The moist hide is the gecko cave on the left. It contains about 3/4 inch of moistened coco-fiber in it. Cleo loves it and spends most of her time in there. The UTH is on the product list. I use the ceramic heater because I keep the setup in my classroom and it sometimes gets cold in there at night. It just helps to ensure the temp gradient stays as it should, if it gets cool enough that the UTH can't keep up on its own. It rarely runs. Oh, and the light is only there if I want to take a picture of the enclosure or if my students want to watch Cleo hunt crickets. Otherwise it's off.
