My Sick Bibron Gecko

Hey! I'm Devyn and I have a Bibron Gecko. I just got him today and who I got him from didn't take care of him and he hasn't eaten or drank water in about a month. He is pretty much sick and I don't think he is eating. I have him in a cage with things he is able to climb on since they like trees and I have roaches and super worms inside the cage now with water. What do I do to get him healthy again? Any advice would be awesome! Thanks!:D

Welcome to the forum.

If he didn't eat the feeders right away, remove them so they don't cause him any stress. Let him get settled into his new home with very minimal disturbances. Google the species to find care sheets and other pertinent information.

I hope this may help: you could provide the gecko with many hides, increase the temperature inside the terrarium (84-86F), moisten every two days and locate the terrarium at some dark place, so that the gecko feel safe and adapt easier to the new home.

As suggested in the previous posts, it is better to remove the roaches and super worms from the terrarium. You could try to feed the gecko with medium sized crickets. If it continues to refuse the food, you should visit a vet for sure.
