My simple lightbox

This is basically how my light box looks:

I bought some prefabricated cardboard tubes and joining parts to form the frame; no tools were needed, I just snapped them together in 15 minutes.

I then stick a piece of white colored paper on the frame as background.

The last step is to cover the whole thing with a large piece of thin white cloth; the front will also be covered.

I didn't have an artificial light, but the window behind will supply enough light in a normal, not too cloudy day (I live on the 32nd floor, so its usually very bright outside). Sorry, this pic is little blurry.

I got the idea from the link Brian Skibinski posted a while ago: Brian's link

Awesome Bonnie, but you forgot to tell us where you got the supplies!!!

Since I wasn't in the U.S. so I thought it doesn't matter where I got those stuff...anyway I got those from a Japanese shop called MUJI; I don't know if you have MUJI in the U.S., but I know they have open shops in Australia. The parts are pretty cheap too, the shorter posts are approx. 50 cents and the longer ones are about a dollar each (US money). ;)

Nice!

I bought a light tent for Stina as part of her christmas gift. They're such a neat concept for simplifying the process of getting good lighting conditions.

I thought since you were asking Bonnie where she got her supplies, and Hong Kong stores aren't much of a help, I would give you an idea of what I got to make mine.

-1 Medium size box I had laying around my room - You can find boxes anywhere though - Free
- Went to Jo Anne Fabrics (don't know if that is only in my area or not) and bought a remnant of a semi-see thru white cloth - $2.19
- 1 piece of Bristol Board from Blick Arts&Crafts (or any art supply store) - about $2.75

The rest of the supplies I needed I already had in the house. I would be more than happy to post step by step instructions if anyone wanted them.
