My skinny pet store leo

His name is gex, I know not very creative, Ive had him for a week or two now. Im not sure if he is going to make it long because he is so skinny. But he is still eating, 2-3 mealworms/crickets a day, and he is very active so I have a little hope.

Here is his new 10 gallon setup:

Thank god, sadly his female freind isnt eating she took one mealie today for the first time in like a week, but luckily she has some fat on her so Im not as worried.

No hes being offered ALOT, I normally put in 2-3 mealies and 2-3 crickets twice a day, the mealies stay in all day but the crickets come back out after a while, but all he will do is eat a a few mealies and then sleep in one of his hides.And there is a dish with mealies in it but he never seems to notice it so I drop a few in front of him. Oh and yesterday he readily gobbled up a wax worm.

well at least he's eating something, hopefully he's just getting used to his new home still. I've seen skinnier geckos make it and the fact that he's eating , I think your gecko has got a good chance.:main_thumbsup:

No they were at the petstore and for a few days at my house until I got this ten gallon and split them. but she has been away from him for like 3-5 days and she wont eat. the only reason she ate the one today is because I cut the mealies tail end which made it panic and flip alot, then I rolled it in front of her and it started flipping and hitting her. She got mad and smacked him with her tale and it still didnt stop so she just ate it.

Yah the little guy pictured has had two waxies this week trying to fatten him up, the female wont touch them, there are two climing around her hide right now and shes just sleeping. And yes both temps are good. The20 gallon has a 8 watt UTH and a 50 watt infrared bulb which keeps it at about 92-94 on the warm side depending on the room temp. The 10 gallon has a 100watt infrared about 6-7 inches above it keeping the ground temp at about 94 on the warm side, but the cool side only goes down to about 80 in the 10g.
