That is a great idea with the soap holder on the window. I never thought of that!! Thats perfect!

Oh he loves it it was $1.99 at wal-mart i am planning on making it look like a fake rock when i build my next set of hides.

You gotta tell me how you're doing that. I have a free roaming beardie that I have rearranged my house for to get the best basking spots. (yeah, I know... pitiful, right?)

Ok I will take some pics and post them when i start working on it. Here are some pics of the hide/basking spot I started Saterday still needs lots of work

Now that is just cool!!
Is that foam and the insulation spray stuff (have NO idea what its technically called)?
So whats the next step? Do you use a hobby cement and polyurethane?

(Sorry for the questions. I have been DYING to know how to make these forever!)

COOL! I wish I could do things like that. I'm more of a technical computer/gadget guy and really not any good with tools or building things.

I also live in an apartment so I do not have the room to be able to setup a small workshop.

I built this in my apartment with no tools other then a knife and a paint brush. I think I got $20 into it so far. its easy just time consuming
