Well, tonight was our fireworks. Usually we take out the boat & anchor off one of the harbor islands. The weather wasn't cooperating. The later the day got the more fog rolled into the area. It wasn't supposed to arrive until after midnight. So we bagged the idea of trying to come back through the islands in the fog, in the dark.
By the time the fireworks were to start you could not see much beyond the shore at the beach. What's my town do? Why they send them up anyway. Why am I ranting? Because the night cost the town $45K and no one saw anything more than a white, red or green flash now & then. What a waste!
Rant over. The carnival junk food was good though
I'm crossing my fingers that Boston's go off on a clear night.
