Just after I finished cleaning up the gecko stuff today, I kept hearing this unusual thumping sound. I turned around and looked at Jasper a few times, but she was just sitting there looking at me, all quiet and innocuous. Finally after the strange sound persisted, I got up and walked over to her tank, and to my horror, next to it I found a dresser full of superworms!
Turns out I didn't push the lid to their container on all the way. I hadn't thought it would be a problem, I didn't think they'd be strong enough to remove the lid, but apparently they can do that and jump out too. XD So I scrambled around with a flashlight and tongs trying to recover all of them. I think I found all of them... I guess I'll find out in the next few days. I just hope I won't find a stray one when I put on my pants or something lol.
