My Tank Set up (Need Advice)

I've been wanting a Leo Gecko for so long, and I'm finally about to get some. I did my research, and I ordered two Leos (Male & Female). Here is my Tank(29gal) set up I would really like some feedback on it, and what kind of additions I should add to the tank.

Congratulations to your new little ones!
The setup is nice but a little too small for my liking... but I understand that the size is OK according to most in the US so I´ll leave it at that. I think the leos would appreciate more hidings. I´s a little spartaneous. I dont´know if the leos are going to accept that the humid hide i bright inside. The plastic is so thin the light shines through. Have you checked the temperatur inside the humid hide and on the floor directly under the lamp? I could be quite different from the temperature on the wall.

Looks like a pretty good set up. I would do a under tank heat source instead of a light. And paper towels for substrate just because of sanitary reasons.


Of course if your Leo's are male and female be ready for eggs and babies and be ready to house them! They will breed when they're sexually mature. If the male developed quicker than the female he could stress her out by attempting to mate when she's not ready.
