here are my tokays

the first 2 are my larger tank'd one

next is the BIG one from outside

and finally the 2nd biggest one from outside

i have caught and handled the 2nd biggest one


oh btw the names of the ones in the tank are tokiko and kazuki, kazuki is not pictured

If I am reading this correct...you live in a habitat with wild tokays!!! Florida?
I am so jealous!!! I love tokays miss the ones I had and want some wild ones around!!!
BTW they all look grreat

well depending on your deff. of small, a 10 gallon tank should be good for now, a cocofiber or jungle soil type substrate, some foliage for them to hide in shallow water bowl, they do not need any daylights, i have mine under varying wattage of night bulbs, they are nocturnal so they are mostly active at night, during the day mine hide

at night i can watch their shadows crawling around the tank and jumping around, post up some pics asap, id like to see the lil guy, ill try to snap some more pics of the ones outside my house

if you decide to keep it, remember as it gets bigger you need a taller tank, they are climbers so ground space isn't as important as height

ok so i havent been able to get online in awhile so heres an update

the female i bought at repticon is actually a male, lol

and i caught more of the wilds from outside my house so now i have 5 tokays, one male and 4 females, i smell BABIES!!!!!!!!! lol i am in the process of setting up their new 29gallon which is going to be awesome!!!!!!

the last one pictured dropped its tail at one point and its fully regrown now, but has a different shade to it then the rest of the body

the pics were taken in my quarentine tank

lol i dont know if my male is mature yet, so im gonna say yes, although i really cant wait to see what kinda babies my green female makes

4 of them are the blueish tone, and then that one is a gorgeous yellow/green

full out aggressive no, timid and defensive yes, i have yet to be 'attacked' but they have warned me when i get close to them, although they all seem to be calming down some
