So today I went to my local Best Buy to get new ipod Headphones the sporting goods store next to it for a Yankee World Series shirt and the Pet smart just to check on the geckos and my mom wanted to look at these adorable puppies we almost brought home but no gecko so I find it wierd as we already have a dog.
They had 2 separate leos, 2 Juvies, 1 adult.
The juvies were adorable and sleeping until this lady's dog woke them up and I forgot to look at the adult but it was sleeping too.
These photos were taken by my camera's phone. Not so good quality. They did look healthy and I counted all toes and a nice tail on all of them. The older was a male as far as I could tell and I forgot to ask to handle them to see if they were jumpy or whatnot.
The only hide was a dry hide. The substrate was sand and it seemed like the gecko (he was in the hide) had his head in the sand so I hope he hasn't suffered impaction at all.
The temp was at 80s on a crappy thermometer and using an overhead light on the sand. The water was dirty and the cactus really did nothing but try to make appeal.
He looked like a normal.
The juvies had a better housing I supposed with repti-carpet and a hide plus a small rock they could go behind and they also were normals (or if I'm wrong someone correct me)
The two cuties sleeping in their log hide.
They're bowl looked a bit dirty too
The dog woke them up and they wandered out with eyes half open.
There also was another gecko which I do not remember what kind it was. Can someone tell me?
It had raptor eyes which was cool.
There also was a baby beardie
He munched on a few crickets which was cool as they hopped near him and he twitched then wagged his tail and snapped.
And here are the puppies that almost took a possible gecko's home in my house.
Yes. The brown one is sitting on the white one. Damn you adorable puppies.
