My White lined gecko bit off part of her tail and I am confused?

Hey,

my female white lined gecko Annabelle bit off part of her tail yesturday and i have no idea why. anybody have any suggestions as to why?

any possibility the tail was damaged like maybe from a stuck shed or some other trauma? I know with my son's mouse colony if one of their tails gets damaged they'll chew it off 9 times ot of 10.

it is possible because she did just shed so at the moment its a complete mystery to me. because there has been no change in behavior. but on another note haha i just got a gargoyle gecko! its my first of the Rhac..... you know what i mean lol shes cute pics will be up soon she is really shy right now as you can expect. we named her pickle lol

hell no, that would be a dumb idea, completely different care and that would be just the first problem with that

white lined geckos can be a little aggressive due to the fact that there are related to the tokay

lol stupid me keep posting but yes she is a cutie that is when she comes out, she is quite shy at the moment i have only had her 2 days so far but all is well she is eat cgd no problem
