This came up in another thread and it deserves it's own...

How do you name morphs?

In my opinion morphs should be named by dominance.

Dominant > Inc-Dom > Recessive (i.e. Enigma Mack Snow Bell)

As far as polygenic morphs and pattern morphs; I put them first. (i.e. Tangerine Enigma Bell or Striped Enigma Mack Snow)

If using this method: Would Co-Dom fall before or after Inc-Dom?

I have no idea if that is of any importance. I would much rather be able to use what sounds the best, or is easier to type.

The discussion was "Mack Enigmas" I kind of prefered Mack Enigma over Enigma Mack, so that is how I typed it. I think it sounds funny the other way, so I hope this type of naming issue is not a big deal.:p

Just think, the acronym for Albino Super Snow, compared to Super Snow Albino. Which one do you pick? SSA or ASS :main_laugh:

I don't think it matters how they get named because you'll never get everyone to agree. :(

LOL! It's still be SSA my way...

I definitely don't think it's a big deal. Look at Ball Python morphs... Most of them are nicknames unlike how we pretty much call it what it is. Don't get wrong, I'm cool with the nicknames, but it can get confusing.
