This year was pretty fun, it didn't seem as crowded as last year. I think the leos were much better represented this time. Last year it seems like all anyone had was tangs and macks ... there was a good deal of variety this time around. Like last year (as my husband pointed out), if you aren't into snakes, the show is a bit of a waste. It seems like 90% of the vendors were snakes - corns and BPs by the boat load.

Enough talking, time for some photos before we go to the get together tonight.

This one was labled as an albino enigma ... which doesn't make a whole lot of sense with the black spots. Maybe they ment red-eyed? There were a few enigmas there, and NONE of them were awake. :main_rolleyes:

I thought this was cute - a sleepy Super Mack snow.

This is one of the strangest looking geckos I've seen! I think they said it was a scorpion tailed gecko?

This guy was really pretty.

KING OF THE MOUNTAIN!

This has to be THE fattest tokay EVER!

A lechie just hanging out .., I'm surprised at how HUGE these guys get.

A very pissed off rattler ... he wasn't liking a little blue-haired lady. Everytime she'd moved close he'd rattle. I don't think he cared about anyone else.

This cobra was hooding up a bit, which was pretty cool.

It was nice to meet you at the show Shanti! You're right, a TON of snakes at the show as always. Loved all of the geckos that were there though.:D

I talked to the people who had the enigmas and they couldn't tell me anything. I asked what is the defining trait behind the morph and they said it's a co-dom. I asked if it was an eye morph trait and they both just shrugged. Nice salesmanship.
I think that the $1500 ones were hets and the albino NFS was an actul enigma.

So it was Mark Bell with the Engima? Cool looking leo! Looks like a SH too huh? You know to me it does look liek an hybino with some black pigment, weird maybe its just the odd pastelish bands with the clean looking tail.

That enigma and one other were pretty colorful, the rest were more ghost-like as far as coloration went. ALL of them had very reduced pattern on the tail, and patchy amounts of black spots.

I can't believe people there are selling super snow females for $300-$400.

Alex Hue was selling male Supers for 350. and females for 300., that is the price he told me anyway. I was more suprised by the $750. Spider Ball Pythons though.
