NARBC :(

Yesterday I'm at work and they annouce that we all get training soon. Fine, whatever. What they didn't tell us (until about an hour later) is that it's has to occur this weekend (why, I'm not really sure), which basically shoots down my plans for going to the NARBC in Tinley. I've tried to get out of it and they basically told me that my job depends on it. I'm really pretty upset about the whole thing....

I've already called to cancel my hotel room... :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry:

That sucks. I'm not going to make it myself. Spent all the money I had saved up on racks and a few leos I couldn't pass up. I'd go just for fun and the get together, but without a hotel room that's not happening. Oh well, there's always next year to look forward to...

Awww....that sucks guys! No guarentee I'll be there either ... but there just might be a special delivery that day if I do make it! We'll have to try to meet up again next year.

It does suck, a lot. I didn't even really want to buy anything (hell, I'm a poor college guy), but I was really looking forward to meeting up with everyone that I've never met on Saturday night. I mean, I wouldn't have turned down a gargoyle or two, but it wasn't the main reason for going.

It sucks too cause I had the room for two nights for less than $150 due to a 'significant organization' discount I got, ironically enough, through work.

I guess it's been posted on the website for a few weeks and I just haven't looked at. Apparently a few of them knew about it and they were jsut reminding us this week... oh well...
