Well the weather here in NC has gotten my Male Crestie all juiced up :)

He has been chattering and chasing all night long! It has been in the low 60s highs/ low 30 lows for a few days, and yesterday a front moved through that got the temps back up to the 70s and mid 50s at night... I wonder if he thinks spring is in the air!! Wonder if he knows he is wrong :)

HA!

Yes... but I had caught them in the "act" about 26 days ago... so I do expect some egg laying soon. The females have ben alone up until the 14th of last month. They reached about 30 grams at that point, so I introduced them. Both females that I have, have already laid duds once already... so fingers crossed!! :) But in my thought process and the males defense, I don't see a problem with overdoing it ;)

My leo tries to jump from thing to thing when I have him out with me, but he's like THEE most ungraceful thing on 4 feet. He usually ends up face planting insted of gracefully landing on his feet. It's sad but hysterical.

Well, if you think about it, Spring is in the air in New Caledonia (where cresties are from). ;)

My male has been "patrolling" more than usual at night lately. He hasn't been vocal that I've noticed, though.

Good luck on eggs!
