Well, we have a new puppy coming in a couple of weeks. He is a week old now and is a full blooded Rottweiler. He is gonna be massive and we are super excited. Well we need names. We have a female dog named Sammy, a kitty named Zummy, an eastern box turtle named Pistachio, a female leopard gecko named Rocks(or roxie), and a little girl gecko that is yet to be named(we don't have her yet. Any thoughts on the rotty's name or the female gecko would be greatly appreciated.

Ok maybe this wasn't such a good idea. I really like both so far. I guess my hubby will be the one deciding. I thought I was settled on maiximo but then you just had to come along and add to my confusion. HEHE

Lol you are asking the rottweiler queen here...

Bronko, Maximus, Hercules, Eros, Brando, Titan, Barracuda (Cuda short), Axel, Jumbo, Ramzes, Thor...etc.

I have 500 more where those came from. Most of those are world champion's names.

You say he is a week old now? And coming in a couple weeks? Rottweilers are a breed that NEED (not just should, but NEED) to stay with their mother for the full 7-8 weeks. I know it's hard, because you want the puppy as soon as possible, but the results when they are taken away too early are not worth it. They learn SO much, including bite inhibition from their mother, and social skills. Where are you getting the puppy from?

I am 100% with you. He will stay with his mom till then. I say a couple of weeks because it makes me feel better(not so long to wait)They said they would give him to me after he starts eating real food but have decided to wait. We are getting him from one of my friends. We get to see him from time to time but yesterday we got to hold him. He is super layed back while his siblings cry and whine when away from their mommy. We opted not to have his tail docked which I think has made a huge difference already.
As for the names my confusion is only getting worse. My hubby is the one who will make the final decision. He is the biggest of his litter and we are all very excited.
