I was getting 10-12 thousand feeders ever other monday and my supplier needs to close for personal reasons. I have been spoiled with amazing plump lively feeders and now need a new supplier for the east coast(many of us do).

So where can I get quality feeders in that quantity that can ship to the east coast for a reasonable rate.

grubco.com is a pretty good place to order, we used to order form there but then we found somewhere cheaper and now I cant even remember that place because we havent ordered online in a while. The only problem is they have limited supplies of super worms. I THINK the other place was reptilefood.com but they changed their website and i just checked it and its being...troublesome.

Ive had good luck with grubco but have used sunshine a few times and they did well too, I just remember the worms being larger on the large from grubco compared to sunshine.

As long as smaller larges grow to LARGE larges.... I'm cool with that. As long as the weigh is right, I will be happy.

I still have 12000 or so left, so I have a week to find a new supplier.

Yeah we have ordered from reptilefood.com before, and their delivery was perfect and the prices are good. Like I said grubco the only problem is more expensive and they have very few superworms to order out.

I personally have had bad experiences with Sunshine both times I ordered from them, many dead mealworms (more than half) in both shipments. I have sense been ordering from Armstrongs Cricket Farm here in Georgia and they have been wonderful for me, I only had one shipment with about a 1000 dead mealworms, they didn't ask any questions and sent me 5000 more no charge.

I get 2-5 dead per 10000 on a bad shipment , but them days are over :(

I have ahhhh.... 107 geckos with atleast 10 more coming this weekend, hence the 6000 a week :)

Once I breed them this winter.... 20,000 a week may be my needs.... yikes!!!!

Ok, so I will get atleast 2 shipments from different suppliers and try the 3rd(4th or 5th ) the following week. I have no qualms with having a 5 gallon bucket of feeders in my fridg if need be.

I just tried rainbow mealworms and got the fattest, healthiest looking superworms I have ever received from anyone. I only ordered 500 to try them out and had them shipped overnight. So I only have that one experience with them.

Wow its been awhile since I've been online. I had a power supply problem and then my wireless air card was messed up. But I would go with Reptilefoods.com. Awesome peoplethere, if you have even then smallest problem they will send you another order. I got 4000 1/4 inch crickets for my babies and 15,000 smal mealies plus 1000 supers and 10,000 large mealies. UPS smashed my top there boxes and I called them up on their live chat and tomorrow I am getting a new order. I have never have had a problem with them and no matter what they always send you the whole order in replacement and its never their fault. Plus if you order anymore that $100 worth of bugs, you get a big discount on shipping. I saved 25.00 just on shipping! And it comes the very next day!! I will never change who I order from. I used Rainbow mealworms in California and I liked their service as well But shipping was expensive since they are from California and so was I.:D

wow, i got 500 mealies, 25 superworms (just to see if he likes them) and 50 waxworms for $7 plus $6.60 shipping, they were really good about responding to my emails too so we'll see how the worms look when they get here.

I think I'll try sunshine & grubco out next, this thread is full of good suggestions. My last order was from reptilefood.com, but there were a couple of other insects in there that didn't look anything at all like mealworms....

I got 10k($58) from komodo(NY dealer) and they were very nice mealworms. They came in medium, but that's my fault for not saying large. I just recieved a 5k shipment from grubco($28) to try them out and those people have LARGER healthy mealies and the count looks great!
