I adopted two leopard geckos about 5 months ago. I have a 20 gallon long tank with a 10-20 gallon UTH attached to a rhetostat.
The temperatures where I live are beginning to get cooler, and I have already noticed that my geckos warm side of the tank is in the mid to upper 80s and it's not even winter yet! The rhetostat is set on the highest setting. I know I need to get my warm side to be in the 90s.
I am wondering if it would be better to purchase a 30-40 gal UTH and set that up with the rhetostat I already have. Or to purchase a thermostat that will actually regulate the temperatures to connect to the 10-20 gal UTH that is already attached to my tank.
Any suggestions?
