So I'm still having problems with my girl's eye. She was at the vet on Tuesday and she was given Ofloxacin Ophthalmic solution and I believe it was watered down because she is so small. I've been giving her drops twice a day since then. Originally, she was just squinting the eye and had some white stuff in it. The vet figured it was a bacterial infection. While she was at the vet, she was given some orangey looking drops to help see the eye and then some numbing drops. But, since I've been doing the Ofloxacin drops, her eye has been looking awful. I can barely get her to open it. It looks like the eye is hard and crusty and sort of dead looking. The vet told me to stop the drops, but she won't be back in until next week. I'm hoping to get her an apt somewhere else tomorrow. Can someone PLEASE tell me if there is anything I should be doing in the time being? I'm really afraid for her. She also had diarrhea yesterday and I'm not sure if its because maybe the drops got in her mouth or something. I would really appreciate some help. Thank you!
