Hi.

I'm broke and I need space, lol. I really thought I'd have extra money by now so I could order my custom tanks but I don't and I need space since my mom is started to complain about the gecko in her living room and in her room. Plus it's becoming a safety hazard because I'm so clumsy. Each time I need to feed, water, etc in the tanks I need to get up on a stool and I've fallen off of it a few times and I'm tired of getting bruised, lol.

I have bins In mind but I really didn't want to use them because they weren't as clear as I would like them to be but right now this is the best and the cheapest option. I already have one of the bins that I use as storage and thought I could practice on it, http://www.containerstore.com/shop/closet/shoeStorage/shelf?productId=10009590

See the thing is I'm selfish and I want to see my geckos exploring their tank, eating, etc. so I thought maybe I could cut out a little "window" on which ever side I use as the front. I want to cut out a rectangle and replace it with plexi glass or some type of acrylic, only thing is I don't know how to attach the two; screws, glue, etc?

The lid also needs a screen so I can feel more comfortable with them in the bins, I already have a piece of the screen I'd like to use but whats the best thing to use to attach it to the lid frame?

Muchas Gracias!

The newer rubbermaid bins are pretty clear. I can see my geckos easily. I don't know how I would attach the plexiglass. Besides, plexiglass scratches extremely easy so it's not my favorite material to use. As for a screen mesh on the lid...I simply drill 50 holes all over the lid.
