I think she is a male. I normally feed my geckos meal worms and decided to add some crickets for a change. I went to dump a few in and about 25 ended up in the tank. All small less then 1/2 inch and 1 about 1 inch. I noticed some orange stuff on the tile and decided to check each of the 4 geckos in the 90 gal. tank. Well I was not happy on what I found. One of the geckos had 3 sores. You can see one of them in the photo. After closer inspection I think my girl is a male. Now if it's a male then I can say there has been some fights if not then maybe the cricks got hungry. Let me know your thoughts on the sex. Going out tomorrow to setup another tank. Got to run out to pickup some meds for the wounds.

Also, I wouldn't wait til tomorrow to separate either. Even if you have to put him in a random bucket for the night, I suggest getting him away from the other male. What you can do is put him in a cardboard box inside the tank for the night, a shoebox is great if you have a big tank, and put it on the floor so he still has temp gradient (1/3 on the hot area, 2/3 off the hot area). Even if you cant fit the box over the hot side, he'll be fine spending the night in the cool side, just get him set back up properly first thing tomorrow.

Well along with the meds I added a tank and cover. Good thing I had an extra temp control. I set up the tank last night and added a heating pad to the bottom controlled by a thermostat. Had to set the temp at 90 only because the pad continues to increase temps after it shuts off. Temps are cycling from 86 to 95. Going today to get a heat mat to fit the 10 gallon. While away I put him in a Tupperware container in the tank and it worked out perfect. My typhoon really went after him. I soaked him in warm water last night and will do so tonight again. Will Bacitracin work on the wounds?
