hi everyone my name is kayliegh and i am new to leopard geckos. i have done loads of research and am certain that i understand everything there is to know about housing them breeding them feeding them caring for there young... blah blah blah all of that is good i also have all the proper equipment to start breeding and housing the hatchlings. what i am having a hell of a time grasping is the differences between the morphs and how to visually be able to identify what i may be looking at. i am going to be purchasing ron trempers book next pay period but other then that and the online morph calculators are there any informative videos or articles that really dumb it down for someone like me who is struggling with understanding morphs. pictures or video would be preffered i am a visiual learner and i want to absorb as much knowledge and understanding as possible. thank you in advance for any advice!!!

The reptile calculator for the iOS devices is very nice. It has most, if not all, of the morphs, a brief history, and a description of the morph. There's a website for it also, but im unsure if it gives the description of it. If you don't want to spend the $40 on the book, you could go the iOS route again and buy leopard gecko pro for 9.99. Basically the same information(morph wise) it doesnt really explain it as well as the calculator, but it provides around 200 pictures.

This video is pretty good on some simple genetics and breeding odds.

thank you guys i found gecko wiki very informative and will watch this video in just a minute. i'm making study cards on all the morphs and it seems to be very helpful. i'm the type of person who doesn't just jump into breeding without knowing everything there possibly is to know about the animal. i've decided to start my program with a bold stripe mack snow and shtct for my first breeding project. i hope over the years to get some really beautiful creamsicles. thank you for all the help!!
