I recently bought an asian red crab. I have come to find out that its not sugesseted as an aquarium pet :main_thumbsdown:. My question is does any one think that he could co-habitate with two high yellow leopard gecko's in a 40 gallon long tank? or would that just be a bad Idea?

Thanks

Apparently they prefer to spend about 90% of their time out of the water and will return to the water every few hours to wet their gills. and love soft fruit . and its not very big either .

That's very natural for them to do that. I owned them before, They are seldomly land and in water crabs. there's nothing wrong with that. I think you would feed them some dead fish or moist pellets (turtle food or fish pellets)
just to give them more nutrients value.

I just was hoping that they might not bother each other , The crab is still currently in a 45 gallon hex tank .

Can you make a terrarium for the crab? A 10 gal should do it fine. make it 3/4 land and 1/4 water. Use a gradient (land higher than water level) and it should be super happy. Or even a large water dish would work.
