This semester I am taking Small Business Mgt. My professor would like us to interview a small business owner that is in a field we are interested in. So I thought maybe one (or more) of you wonderful gecko people here could help me out. It's just six easy questions, you can post the answers, PM them to me, e-mail them to me, really whatever is easiest.
The questions are as follows:
1. How/why you came up with your business idea.
2. How you acquired the business – start-up, purchase, franchise, inherit, etc.
3. Your form of business organization (sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation etc.) and the main reason(s) you chose that organizational form.
4. The top three (3) main problems, mistakes, and/or surprises that you encountered on opening your business.
5. What are the most enjoyable aspects of running your business, and what are the least enjoyable aspects?
6. One piece of advice you have for someone who is considering starting their own business.
I really appreciate the help! Thanks bunches!
