am new to geckos and got up this morning to find to eggs in the habitat. She has scraped all the moss out of the moist hide and buried the eggs with a mix of the substraite and moss right where the heat pad is. I also have a light on the top of the tank. Should i move the eggs? i dont have a incuibator at the moment. will take a couple of days for me to get one. i also dont want to disturb her as she looks tired and is laying on top of the eggs.

you can take the egg out( the sooner the better before it drys out) and put it in an incubation container since you are getting an incubator. just place it in a warm place for now. i have heard stories of this happening and the egg still hatched. also did you mate her with a male? because you didnt say if you did or not

i've known some people that just put the eggs in incubation substrate and put the cup on top of their fridge. but anywhere that the temps are in the 80-90 degree range depending on the sex you want should be fine. do you have vermiculite or any other incubation substrate?

i have put some moist moss in the bottom of a cricket tub and then put some dry ontop and put the eggs in and put the lid on. i have put this tub back in the tank on the heated side and under the lamp. think im to late though the eggs look like they might have dried out already though.
