Need oppinions please...

I found these guys on craigslist. This guy has 5 geckos in all. Supposedly ranging in age from 6 months to 1 year. I only got 3 pictures from him so far. They all look thin but the last one looks sickly (don't know if it's just the angle). Just wanting some second and third oppinions on these guys. Thanks! (oh and I'll post pics of the other 2 if i get them.)

They all look really skinny. I wouldn't get them unless he straight up gives them to you, because you'll probably have to pay more money for vet bills if they have any parasites, etc.

Those look terribly skinny for 6-1yr.... I'd say no

That's kinda what I was thinking. He's asking $25 each. The first one is an enigma snow? right? This stinks... If it's just skinny it's fixable if it's parasites it's $$$$$. Bleh!

if its just skinny then yeah thats fixeable. but if its parasites then your talkin money. maybe ask him to bring a poo smple to the vet and see what they say.

I really dont see that happening. By the looks of them he didn't wanna put out the minimum for their upkeep. The second one looks in like pet store shape (not all pet stores, I know, but generally), so I don't think he's too terribly bad. But if one of the others has a parrasite then they could all have it. Ah!

i got my baby from a petstore but yeah thats true.. well the only thing you could ask him is if he has them all kept together on housed seperatly.

Cheap or geckos can end up being costly if there is any illness. If one has parasites they all need the correct treatment, to prevent a re-infestation. If you are not experienced in rehabilitating sick geckos it could be a lot of grief for you to learn with a group. Also, they will all need individual setups to quarantine and consistent monitoring. That doesn't change even if they have been all housed together previously. The third one is skinny, not a bad photo angle, and that's a red flag. The enigma is thin. Even if you were to take them all, $25 each is too much IMO.

Apparently the 5th one had lost it's tail as well. I think I'm just gonna say no. Tempting as it is I don't wanna possibly introduce a parasite to all my other geckos for a $25 gecko. I'd also be putting 2 new geckos I'm getting from Kristi at risk so... Yeh I'm just gonna stay away from that. Gotta litsten to what my Dad used to say because it's often true. "You get what you pay for."
