So ill make this story short and to the point
My ex has 2 cresteds, he goes away every week end, and his cat got them [got the one twice]. The one that got attacked twice now has no tail, and a bunch of bite wounds that are healing nicely and the other has a giant blister of some sort on its back.

He wants me to take them since hes so irresponsible with them. Any suggestions on what i should do when i get these guys. [I have 2 cresteds myself].

thanks
Leah

Keep them seperate from yours to start with just incase. The wounds should heal on their own so you dont have to do anything for that. Just keep the enclosure clean so it doesnt get infected and you should be ok.

Yeah i told him to put them on paper towels and the one had a huge bite mark so he put neo on that. I know about quarenteening, i dont think they will go in w/ my geckos at all anyways.

As soon as i get them ill put up pictures.

thanks

Also you need to have a very fine line between humidity and dry. Normally you want them to be faily humid with a small dry time period. Being the fact that bacteria fungus/molds grow quickly in a more humid environment, not good for open wounds. So you will want to keep them a little more dry until they start healing well to keep from them getting infected. Now you still need to mist them down, just dont do it so heavily.
