Need to get rid of a leo.

Sigh. I finally ran into a problem with my leo's. They were watching me prepare their crickets, and I saw the larger gecko bite the smaller one on the arm. I immediately created a cardboard divider, etc. So now I guess I don't know which one give away. The smaller one is so cute, she has very defined eyebrows and she looks adorable when shes hunting her prey. But the larger one seems a lot more comfortable with me. I'm sure with time the other one could be just as tame. Sigh. Decisions decisions. This sucks butt.

If I give one away, don't worry, shes one of the girls who works at petsmart, and she offered to take one in if mine didn't get along. She knows quite about about her reptiles and I'm sure my leo would be well cared for.

Not to be a dink, but geckos can be comfortable housed in shoe boxes. I don't want to jump down your back but there has GOT to be room for a 12 qt shoebox
;)

BUT if you don't think you can properly care for it. I don't think the local pet store would be the best answer. Maybe someone on here that is close to you woould be willing to adopt.

But other wise I'd say spend the 2.00 on a 12 qt plastic shoebox, properly ventilate it, 10.00 on a heat pad, maybe another 3- 10.00 on hides, dishes etc and place it on top of your other tank and you've got another tank w/o taking up any more room :)

What's the size of your tank now? Can't you just leave a divider there to separate the two? Then just put the heat mat in the middle, so both sides can benefit from it?

if you did that as well id concider something besides cardboard to. They make A LOT of cheap tank dividers. Even fish tank dividers work
