Neonate with 1cm of Yolk hanging from tummy

I have an Enigma hatchling that has about a 1cm of yolk hanging from its belly. Is there anything I can do? It looks like it's attached to the yolk inside of the hatchling. I have her in a shoebox tub on clean papertowel. Please advise.... I have never had this happen.

I would just leave it as is and try to keep it moist as your doing and it should fall off all on its own.

Moist or Dry? When their tails fall off I keep em dry. Just wondering. Thankyou for your help!

I just checked him and she absorbed the entire yolk and there is no hole! It's only been a few hours too! I kept her dry but with a water dish over the heat to create mild humidity. Thanks for your help Edgar and Jess I was really worried since I have never encountered this before. Oh, and she is a Nova! Hopefully she will be okay and I can put up some pics. Thanks again.....

I'm glad the baby is doing okay. When that happened to a couple of mine last year, I just put them on moist paper towels in their tubs. The cord always fell off within a couple hours.
