Neosporin for a mouth infection?

well it looks like my one hypo female is starting to get a mouth infection cuz in the one corner its kinda swollen and i looked on the inside and it looks like it was kinda cut up a bit maybe she got into a scrap with the othe female she is housed with can i use neosporin on it or is there something else i should use?

I have used neosporin on minor wounds near the mouth with no ill effects. But lets see what other forum-ers think.
