Nest in my yard

On May 7th, I saw this....when I went to fill the bird feeder.

Raised the camera up to take this..... no eggies.

Later that same day.....

Today I figured I'd check on the nest....We have baby Robins!! :main_yes:

hehe nice. I would have said the color of those blue eggs told me it was Robins.

sweet robins..so much for feeding seeds to the others huh? great shots u are very lucky..we have robins, tons in fact. but no nests like that. I think thats cool they did that even tho it's an unusual spot.

Yes a very unusual spot but it's covered very well from the rain so I guess that's why she chose it. However I didn't fill that feeder or the other one next to it to keep away other birds from messing with her. I also thought it funny that I have a bird house not to far from there that she didn't use, usually there is a nest in it every year but not this year.
