So today I went to ***** with my mom (who was picking up my sister at the HS real close). As we waited for her I went to pick up some crickets for my 2 normals. They are both about 6 inches each. As always, I go to check out the reptiles, and I look in the gecko tank. They were all babies, on sand of course. A group of 7 or so babies were in a little half hide type thing and my mom noticed an almost pure orange (only non normal one there) and told me she thought it was cute. Normally they ask $35 for a gecko and saw they were on sale for $18 (almost as cheap as a normal at an expo). He was the only outcast not in the hide with the others and was just too cute. Knowing he wasn't a normal (looks like a tangerine? I don't know morphs at all) I figured he was worth more than $18 and figured I got a deal. The sale will last until the 18th of April (day before an expo in NY I planned on going to to perhaps get another gecko). Seeing as to how I already got a gecko that I planned on getting at the expo... I don't know what I will come back with now. The baby is maybe 4 inches big and so cute, a little almost pure orange. It looked like he was being picked on becuase he has a little scar or something on his lower back. He is now my favorite because he is so unique (to me). My other 2 geckos are housed in a 20 gallon long together and he is in their old 10 gallon alone. Poor guy all alone... I just fed him about 4 baby crickets.
I normally refuse to buy ***** animals but this seemed like a good deal to me.
