Congrats on such a group of T. microlepis. There are getting quite rare here and only a few people besides myself even hold them anymore. This is what happens when people take imports for granted. I've got both forms here (nominate and "mackrenensis"), but finding enough specimens to form 3-4 pairs of each is fairly difficult. Males are far more available...

can you show me the difference between the forms?

i've got different patterned animals.
i know that people take them for grnted, thats why i want to breed them. and i am always so lucky that i can pick out the animals that i want.

There is a size difference between the two forms, a difference in pattern, as well as a different ring of color around the eye. Here you go:

I never knew there where two forms. Are these just like "morphs" or are we really talking about subspecies here? I really hope to breed my T.m.microlepis next season!

Greets,

Stevie

The two forms have not been recognized as two different subspecies, but most subspecies start off as "forms" anyway. Do you have pictures of what you are calling the nominate form?

Harold
