New Baby Leo Any guess on Morph

Just rescued a Leo last night as some may know from the thread. and today found out my fathers friend breeds leos and beardies. He wasnt sure on the morph on this guy as it was an unexpected clutch, and I wanted to know if you guys know what morph . I got him/her for $25. Im not even sure how to sex a 3 month old leo.

but maybe het for something as well and you wont know unless you breed him out when hes older.

Since its a SHTCT did i make out bit for $25. since i been seeing online breeder prices pushing 200$ and up. Or is the price higher due to the coloration on the tail

Nice SHTCTB! I have one, too.

I got my guy for $35. SHTCTB's are pretty common in the leo world nowadays, I'd argue they're the most common aside from the standard/high yellows. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that only the best examples of the morph fetch high prices, for those looking to improve their breeding practices. The rest are sold at lower prices as companions or potential breeders.

yeah your's was well priced. It looks like it'll grow up and have some amazing colors. Unfortunately to sex him you'll have to wait until he's older unless you have a high power magnifying glass and you can look at his glands.

Okay Thanks for the info. hes got a nice vicious feeding response. i gave him t calcium dusted mealies off tongs and he took the tongs out of hand lol.

Keep him well separated from the rescue one- the sick one might have an infectious disease. Quarantine is essential in this case!

their both in quarantine in my QT room with my other reptiles. not necessary to have separate rooms for each species.
