im taking a trip to the reptile store today and i wanted to try some new feeders for my geckos. How are pheonix worms? I think my store has them and i have heard positive things about them. Im going to be getting some butterworms and crickets aswell. I usually only feed mealies.

Phoenix worms are very nutritious, my leos love them when I feed them. Your very lucky to have a shop sell phoenix worms that you can just take a drive to. I suggest getting the large size, there a very small feeder. I can also suggest hornworms and silkworms to mix things up even more, there very high in nutrition.:main_thumbsup:

Phoenix worms are great, just be careful how many you feed, they have an absurdly high natural calcium content. Silkworms are another good one for geckos.

not to highjack the thread here but I was thinking of ordering some pheonix worms when the weather gets warm enough to feed with my mealies. If i feed pheonix worms, say 1 or 2 per day should I skip dusting with calcium?
