new gecko from petco

so i couldnt help myself, they looked preety healthy to me. and it was my first petco experience. its a tremper right, does it have more orange on it then normal or is this what baby trempers look like? can you tell me an aprox age of the little guy. they didnt know anything they didnt even know it was an albino, so funny. do you know if they are usually boys or girls? i guess ill just have to wait until he/she gets older.
o and he/she is eating good, took him home last night and he ate 6 sm mealworms, and drank lots of water.

Yeah normally Petco geckos are Tremper, no knowing what other genes she has though.

How much does he weight? (s)he is probably only a week or two though. That is what most of them are.

do you know if they are usually boys or girls?

Most geckos that are sold wholesale are going to be girls, this way they can be housed together, where boys can't. Temp Sex is only about 75% accurate according to my research though. But most likely a girl.

That is great. I hope she keeps doing great, for you. Congrats on your first leopard gecko. Just get ready for more. Leopard geckos are like potato chips, you can’t have just one.

You will be surprise what morphs you will find there. My local one have trempers, rainwater and a Bell besides some tangs and Hi-Yellows. All are less then 10 grams.

thanks for the replys

this is actually by 5th gecko, but the smallest i ever had. she/he looks so little in a 10 gal tank, and she/he was the biggest out of ill of them.

color wise it looks like a rainwater.. but thats just a guess.
