Hi I'm Jessalyn, and I am super excited to get to know my new little buddy. I have two Pygmy chameleons and frogs and tadpoles so I'm not entirely new to reptiles/amphibians but I've never owned a gecko! The second I saw the Crested Geckos I knew I had to have one (although leopard geckos are insanely cute too!) I was also pleasantly surprised that they don't eat as many (if any?) insects as my other piggies do :)

Gexter Morgan is a lot more calm than I thought s/he would be, but of course it is just the first day. Anywho, I'm excited to get to know you all and I'm sure Gexter will appreciate your knowledge and expertise! View attachment 2388 View attachment 2389

Welcome! Your attachments aren't working for me (anyone else?), so unfortunately I can't see little Gexter (LOVE the name btw). It's best to leave a new gecko alone so he has time to adjust to his new environment, so try to keep the handling to a minimum for a week or two. Cresties really don't need bugs at all as long as they're eating their CGD, which is why I like them.

I think it worked that time haha silly tapatalk. Yeah I've mostly been leaving him alone unless I need to move him. I haven't specifically seen him eat his Repashy cgd, but I saw him drinking water so at least he's staying hydrated :) I've been monitoring his food but it's kind of hard to tell. Thanks all for the warm welcome!
