New Gecko Owner From Canada

I'm new to the site and herps.

I got myself a Rainwater Albino.... Well I was told it was a rainwater in comparison she seems to be rainwater albino? If you think its a different morph let me know. Thank you!!

Very pretty gecko for your first. A rainwater albino is one of the three strains of albinos, so you could call it a rainwater or a rainwater albino. You will love the sites and the geckos.

Just curious how long can I expect until she's eating regularly?

It could take from 24 hours to up to a week. Its a lot of stress, a knoweldgle person on these forums laid it out like this for me.
Think about getting born and placed into a tub about 4 times bigger than you by a giant hand. A month or so later this hand grabs you out, places you in this container no bigger than the size of you. And you go on a bumpy, dark, scary ride for 24 hours. You come out and a different hand picks you up and puts you in a container about 6 times bigger than you...would you eat right away? :p
But also sometimes geckos don't eat for a bit anyways in the winter months (don't know why, but they like to hibernate sometimes :)). So it might be a bit...just keep waving mealies (or whatever you have) infront of her face every night.
She is a pretty healthy size and could go a bit without food, so don't fret. :main_thumbsup:
