yeah I just got the newsletter myself. I couldn't believe they breed some of their females at 45 grams though.

#24 is also impressive! (open the image in a new window, they messed up with the thumbnail) although she is a bit slim.

I also can't imagine them breeding females at 45g. My gecko weighted 61g when she was nine months, and I couldn't have thought of breeding her! Too young! I guess it depends on the gecko and the experience you have...

Ps. If everything goes alright, I may have one of those geckos at home by December 10th :main_rolleyes: But I'm not sure 100%

If I get this new job I'm going to get into their sunglow and snow lines. I'd like to cross some of those snows with my macks.

Regarding the UG snows, I don't mind paying for quality but here is my question. Most of the snows listed are young and around 12-15 grams. If I buy one at that size, what the color change to have more yellow? Isn't it best to buy adult snows? I greatly appreicate teh advise as I am a newbee!

Yeah it WOULD be better to buy an adult as some of their geckos do get more yellow as they grow. HOWEVER if you are able to purchase an adult from them or even subadult in the next year I'd be HIGHLY surprised. Most of them go before 20-25 grams. And according to them even some of the lower grade snows when crossed make some pretty spectacular snows. I've done a lot of talking to them about these snows in the past month, and if I was even able to create a couple of snows as nice as their breeders I'd be more than happy.

if you whant to be sure about the white is better working with mack...IF you like extremly white..
their snow are (like craig say in his web site) axanthic...so this mean they have a really less quantity of yellow...you can select them for produce every season less yellow and more nice white...
i buy a snow trio from them...craig hold them when they was really baby..so i'm really curious to see them when they will be arrived next week..
i post some pics of them...
i'm really interesting to see what they will produced next year...

I personally wouldnt wait too long if you definatly want to buy them. There was a male i wanted really badly and within a week it was gone :(

The chances of them yellowing are 50/50 either they will or they wont. No one can say for sure. Recently these snows have been a hot topic on this board so you wont have to look back to far. I BELIEVE it was Jeanne (i could be wrong) who bought one of their snows and it turned out quite yellow. Just look back in some of the TUG Snow discussions. But like I stated, they claim that breeding their lower grade snows could/will make some of the desired snows. Ultimately ANYTHING in leopard geckos or reptile breeding is a gamble. Some of us have the lucky roll and others are not as fortunate.

Meh... I'm not impressed... When Kelli has $900 Electric Tangerines available they'll blow any of these TTs away.

If I'm going to spend $700-$1100 on a single gecko I would be buying from Kelli. Nothing really impressed me compared to what Kelli offers.

I have seen geckos just as nice if not nicer produced by people on this very forum
I'm sorry-but their price tags are way to steep for me
