New Hides?

Okay, so I was thinking about ordering a new hide for my leopard gecko's enclosure, because the three he has now are kind of big and clunky looking.

I have these two hides right now:
Medium Desert Boulder Cave
Fluker Castle Crib Large

My other hide is just a DIY plastic hide that I made awhile ago. If I order a new hide, I kind of want one that would be good for a humid hide because the one I have right now is just hideous (IMO). I have a 20 gal long tank, so there's quite a bit of space, I suppose.

Here are a few hides I was looking at:
Exo Terra Medium Reptile Den
Zoo Med Small Repti Shelter
Penn Plax Granite Stone Hideaway X-Large
Exo Terra Crystal Cave Medium

The reason I want to order them online is because my local pet store doesn't have a huge variety of decor, so when I first got my gecko I kinda just got whatever was available.

So I was wondering if anyone has used any these hides, and if they are any good? And if so, would you recommend them?

Thanks!

I have used the Zoo Med Repti Shelter in the past. Only complaints is that it will some times crack when directly over the warm spot. If you decide on it, definitely get the large one. The small is way to small for an adult. The EXO Terra Large Gecko Cave looks pretty neat for a humid hide.:D

Going to second the vote for a larger repti-shelter if you get that one. I have the medium size, and it works for my 9", 95g male, but it's a somewhat snug fit. The small would be impossible for an adult leo, and those hides are pricey enough that it wouldn't make sense to buy the small only to need to upgrade later. Buy the medium or large, for sure.

I have pretty much the exact same hides that you have on here. and for the exo terra reptile den you probably want the large one, medium doesn't have that much space. Also same with zoo med, only my juvi fit in the small ones and he barley does. The crystal cave is actually what I use for my moist hide with my adult get. I lay it flat on the ground, instead of on the side of the glass and I put paper towels in it. My gecko loves it like that.

I would suggest a normal easy half log style it looks good and my Leo loves his he sits on top of it all day. They are cheap and easily found at every pet store they are made of pine as you can tell from the bark. Although its nota humid hide I particularly need a humid hide myself. :main_thumbsup:
