So I was given a tank from my neighbor who housed a different type of gecko in the 20 long he gave me. I wiped the inside down with wet paper towels as it seemed like he had already cleaned it. I got it all setup and my gecko in, but for the next 3 days he refused to eat. I swapped him back to his smaller 10 gal and now he's back to eating. any ideas?

Simetimes it takes a gecko a while to settle into a new enclosure before it will eat. It could take a few days up to a week, maybe two. Once you put it back Im sure it could tell by (smell and taste) that is was back in a familiar place.
I would clean that new cage very well. Even if "it seems" like it was clean already. You don't want your gecko to get sick from something so easy to prevent like cleaning its cage. JMO

Personally if I plan on moving geckos I don't feed for a time depending on age of course then once I swap tanks give them a good feeding, seems to work fine for me but geckos, like humans are all different

Bleach and water OR ammonia and water. One or the other not both at the same time (that could be bad). After cleaning it just make sure you keep rinsing until you cant smell the product you used to wash it with.
