upgraded from a 10 gallon, lots of new stuff. it took me a long time, even though it doesn't look like it. lol

and even with all their hides, they still use the one rock cave. even if i switch the spots, and put a different one on the warm spot! UGH :main_rolleyes: how annoying

Do I spy a mac'n'cheese box covered with contact paper? Those make great hides on a budget, don't they? I covered mine with paper-based clay and no-toxic poster paint... check it out http://www.geckoforums.net/showthread.php?t=41198

haha, no it's not mac n cheese...just some random minute rice box. and wow, yours is a lot nicer haha. i didn't have any of that stuff or that much time to make mine that nice. just covered it with paper lol

Your set-up is really nice, though. Is that tile you used as a backdrop? It really helps the plant stand out!

nope, not tile...it's non-stick shelf liner! i wanted to do tile or slate, but the tank they're in is already so heavy, and i'm going to have to be moving it into my new apartment in 3 months, so i decided to go for shelf liner. it's the substrate and the back..i love it! it's so easy to clean. my boyfriend missed the repti-carpet though...so right now it's half and half on the bottom haha.
