I recently aquired 2 medateranian house geckos. I have them in a 30 gal with peat moss and a bunch of plant and sticks. I have a male and a female and would like to breed them. How do I go about doing that. What temps do I need and what do I incubate the eggs in. Any help is apreciated.

Thanks TY

idk specifically for this gecko, but i'd assume it's the same as every other gecko

raise temps a little bit, put eggs in vermiculite or an incubator that you bought. if the eggs feel stuck, don't force them, some geckos stick them with a paste like stuff and they break if you move them.

oh yeah, and can you post pictures? i'd like to see

hey cool geckos. i have a family of them that live on my porch!

i think these guys breed pretty easy. i bet if you just let them do there thing they will breed.

i find they are only active when its above 80. make sure they have a cool place to hide though if they want. you dont want to bake them in there cage!

p.s. i live in arizona too! did you collect them from outside?

but seeing as I dont have mutch room in my incubator or in my house I think I will let them live out their lifes in my front yard I think they will like it more outside.

I have 4 small house geckos (probably only a couple months old) and even in a little 2.5g that I have them in I never see them. And they're extremely fast too. So I never see them and they move so fast I don't think I could catch them if any escaped, personally I would leave them outside as they're not the most enjoyable pet... ;)
