Built my gecko some new furniture for her 20 gallon long. I guess the only thing really out of the ordinary is the underground burrow I made for her. It took her a couple days to get over her fear of it, but she loves it now :) It's made 100% from pink foam, grout , acrylic paint and sealed with modge podge. Heated by one heat pad and a ceramic bulb

Some of the whitish spots is white sand from the carribean that was modge podged on for traction ( it's all I had laying around )
You can see the tunnel here , it is the hole in the center under the hill and it goes all the way back to the glass where theres a big circular are for her to sleep in.

This looks really nice, your gecko will have plenty of hiding nooks and places to explore. It would be even more beautiful if you got a background (you can buy them for a couple bucks or for more fun make your own) to hide some of those ugly wires.

It DOES look really neat! But if he decides to hang out inside one of those holes... are you going to be able to get him out? I like the hole idea though, it's really cool :) Are those real rocks imbedded in there, if so, they could dislodge and fall on him, unless you've "glued" them together somehow. A desert background definitly would be cool. It looks like a cool home :)

I was just looking at your set up again....Is your heat mat on the side? They really need belly heat, and those thermometer strips are completely useless, a digital one with a probe would be better.

OK, sorry, now that Im done ripping apart your set up, lol....it is a nice concept, just appears to need some tweaking ;) Just trying to help...dont take offense to any of this, please. :)

Thanks all. Good call on the background I need to buy one. To answer the other questions, the reason there os a crack is so that I can lift off the top layer of the set up to access gecko if she's in burrow. If you notice the foam is stacked 3 high so I am able to remove layers easily. Heating pad on the side is not in use there is one for belly heat not pictured. All of the rocks are also fake nothing is real, I will take that as a compliment though lol. There is also a digital thermometer in there I thought you could see it in pic, guess not. The strip was on the tank when I bought it so I just left it on. Thanks for trying to help but I'm one step ahead of ya. Ps nothing in there is glued down, I can take the whole thing apart in under a minute minus the hills. I have also painted the inside of the den black so its really dark in there, she loves it. The set up was thought through pretty well on my drive from FL to NC haha
