The man we got Merlin from said paper towels were the best substrate to use for him. That's what I've been using. I also bought Terrarium Moss because some places say that is a good idea too (I haven't added it to the tank yet). Any who, he's been really interesting. We got him a little coconut and castle for hiding holes (Mom's idea), and he loves the castle the most right now during the day. At night he loves the coconut. Go figure. I am still not a hundred percent on how much to feed him. Some places say once every other day, then others say once a day every day. I've been trying to do a little of both. We had small mealworms at first, and he ate those like crazy. I think I got a different kind now, they're the regular size, he hasn't tried those yet but I hope he will soon. I'm also trying to find what is the best temperature and humidity levels for him because I want it to be just right. Also is having my window blinds in my room open a good idea or a bad idea?
