I am so very excited that i found a bell enigma het radar just like the one I have at home...I have been wanting to get her a new friend for a while now, and thanks to Chrissy/LizardGirl her new friend is on the way. She should be here in about 2 hours O.O im so very excited!!!!!

no quarantine here....getting them both vet inspected asap.... by the time 3 months pass and i buy new substrate new UTH new hides new tank.... it would not be so outrageous for me to just pay $20 a piece to inspect for parasites and what not. My only concern is will they get along...im hoping so =]

no quarantine??..lol okay man. you had a post before about a runny stool. Chances are your gecko may have parasites. I would REALLY not recommend introducing your new gecko to your other....and 20 bucks a piece for a fecal smear?. Are you positive 100 percent?.

my friends mother works at the vets office here in town... the runny stool was on another set of geckos not this enigma that i have....yes sir poop test $20 full exam on the geckos themselves is $40

I'm sorry but your acting irresponsible. Why would you risk it? Not every parasite is easy to treat. That makes no sense that after they will be living together then you will test them. Your not even prepared with an extra tank just incase they fight. Your not thinking responsibly.

really? seriously? so you are one of those shoot first ask questions later kinda guys huh...you make me lol, the new leo will be brought to the vet and stay there until the fecal drops...then i will bring in the sample from the other one and have them both checked out.... take your pre conceives some where else bro. And normally i would not have an attitude about it, but when you just assume something...well you know

i just dont have the time to separate or equipment to have them separated for 4-16 weeks. If they dont get along then i guess i will have to separate them....

i refuse to let you turn this into "one of those threads".... i never once said that i was housing them BEFORE i got them checked out.... i said i hope they get along or i WILL have to separate them. Please drop it...you were wrong in assuming.

update: she just arrived and had some stool in her deli cup...could i use this for a sample or would it be better for the vet to just wait for the next bowel movement?
