New Leo...still no poops...

I obtained my male leo from a reptile show on March 29th. He's been eating normally. I picked up some phoenix worms while at the show. He isn't as an active hunter like my previous leo was but this new guy is older than the one I had before. He is interested in the food and stares it down more than hunting it. I've had him for aprox 9 days now and he has yet to poop. I'm starting to get a little concerned.

His warm side I have an UTH with a red bulb for some more heat (I live in an OLD house so it gets chilly.) The temp ranges right around 90 degrees. He has a hide there and then in the middle of the tank is his moist hide and another hide on the cool side. The cooler side ranges around 82-85 degrees. His substrate is paper towels.

He is active and I've seen him moving from the warm side to the cool side during the day and napping. Then, a little before dusk he ventures out to wander around. So he's acting very normal just no poop.

How long did he wait before he started to eat when you brought him home? My leo went a bit over a week before passing any stool as well. He started eating after about 72 hours. Bowel movements were irregular (frequency, i mean) for the following couple weeks, then everything stabilized to a consistent schedule thereafter.

Most caresheets i've read call for mid 70's for cool side.

I am a new reptile owner too so can't offer advice. Just passing on own short experience. :)

I offered him food but he didn't eat until Monday. So he waited two days. It seems like he has settled in pretty well, maybe he's not 100% adjusted yet.

I'll try to get the cooler side temp down a bit. I guess I'm just being paranoid. Haha

It's been 16 days now and my leo has still not pooped. He's still acting the same as he was when I first brought him home. Still eating normally. There's nothing I can see that he's different about except he's not pooping. I updated my first post with the copy and paste info. I am wondering if I should try a warm soak? or I've read about mineral oil. I've tried to get a look at his belly and from what I can tell it doesn't look any different.

Hey did your Leo ever start pooping? I just got my first Leo a week ago and am having the same issue he's been eating but I haven't seen an evidence of him going to the bathroom.

Did you check their moist hides? I have a few that are "hide poopers" and their poo is a bit camouflaged in there...lol. If he's acting normally I don't think I would worry too much unless his behavior changes.

Okay so no poop in the moist hide but there were two in the cool hide. One looked normal and the other one was a lighter color. How do I influence him to not go there?
