I've put pictures on other forums but still getting lots of different opinions on the morph of our new leopard gecko. Would like to see if anyone here has some additional ideas. Thanks in advance.
She is very dark brown with brown and light mint green bumps. No info yet on her parents and we probably won't be able to find anything out about them. I've included the other leopard gecko that we got this week as for morph ID if someone wants to help with it as well.

cant say for sure, but from photos i have seen the first one definately looks

melanistic. where did you acquire this gecko?

second one would be a dorsal stripe tangerine i would say.

You have posted on two other forums, and I have responded on those two forums... you have a highly sought after hyper-melanistic leopard gecko! What a beautiful specimen! Breeders like myself would LOVE to have a gecko like this. It may hold the key to producing a genetic, solid-black, Axanthic morph. Congratulations on having a very unique and beautiful gecko!

Seriously, Drexciya... you have a very beautiful hyper-melanistic leopard gecko that many serious breeders would LOVE to have in their collection! Congratulations on such a wonderful find!

Thanks, we actually got her from a local pet store here in TX. We weren't really looking for a girl, we wanted a male, but after seeing her and how calm she was in my hand, we fell in love. Thanks again to those who responded.

Awesome find. Good luck with her. I have a male that I believe is Melanistic. but not a hypo like yours. Here is a pic of him :) He was given to me by my best friend's wife. This isn't a great pic of, I will take a better pic in the next couple days.

Thats the closest to black I have seen other than the BV project..and well the other project linked to the BV project lol.
Drexciya do you plan on placing her with a male or is she just gonna be a pet? It would be interesting to see her offspring :)

he's handsome.

Thank You. My best friend's wife gave him to me in September when he and anouther male got in a fight. She knew I would take good care of him.

She is beautiful. I agree it would be cool to see off-spring but not all of us are into breeding( alot of us are but thats besides the point lmao).
